SN 56094. Near-mint rifle on Heym pattern action with stunning engraving. 25" bbls, mint bores, matted flat solid rib with pedestal front sight and fixed rear, Kirsten double bolt, ejectors. "Mannlicher Safari" model w. cocking indicators and Merkel-style reinforcements & dbl triggers, set front. Coin finished receiver superbly engraved with a trumpeting bull elephant on left side, a large feline on right side and shoulder bust of a tiger on bottom, all surrounded by foliate arabesque patterns with shaded background. Reinforcements are engraved with oak leaves & acorns with punch background. English walnut stock with cheekpiece and rosewood grip cap, feather crotch figure in toe. Matching schnabel forearm . 15-1/4" over a Pachmayr pad. Repaired hairline by trigger plate. Sling studs. Original maker's leather trunk case with keys, 3-pc brass cleaning rod with implements and regulation target (Rem 270 gr SP). Weight 8 lbs. 7 oz.
