Description:
This is perhaps one of the rarest of WWII FAIRBAIRN-SYKES dagger variations - a "beaded and ribbed" variant made around 1943-1944 possibly by William Rogers company. Instead of the usual 3rd pattern circular ribs, this particular variation had very attractive pattern of circular "beads" alternating with standard ridges.
This knife is near mint with nearly all of its black paint/baked on finish intact on the blade with just a couple of small areas on the handle where the underlying brass is starting to show.
Broad Arrow 12 stamped on the handle and England stamped on the cross guard and on the scabbard. The blade is perfect and never been sharpened. Elastic band on the scabbard is intact as well.
This fighting knife would be impossible to upgrade and is missing from most collections.
3-day inspection.
$25 shipping in CONUS.
