This rifle was used / owned by noted Gun Writer Ken Waters in his 1974 Handloader article on the 7x61 Sharpe and Hart.
This John Rigby & Co. Best Sporting Mauser in 7x61 Sharpe & Hart remains in excellent condition. It has nice scroll engraving on the receiver, bottom metal and buttplate. It retains almost all of its original bluing, and only has a few light handling marks on the woodwork. It has excellent bore.
