"SN: 209. Made circa 1840. 31 caliber with a 3" barrel. Nice sharp gun. Metal has been cleaned and now has a light gray patina. Grips are very good. This is an Ehlers model with the loading lever. These guns were made after Johns Ehlers, a investor in the Patent Firearms Company purchased the inventory after the bankruptcy. He outfitted the remaining inventory with loading levers. Very good cylinder scene remains. Gun is all matching.
