Description:
Listed is a factory correct Winchester Model 70 standard grade in 300 H&H Magnum Manufactured in 1955 with serial number 350190 in above average condition for the age. This rifle is correct with both front and rear sights, front sight hood, sling swivels, and steel checkered buttplate, There is no visiable evidence of a scope base ever being assembled to the receiver top and the barrel and receiver bluing is 98% with one small scuff mark behind the front lyman sight, only normal handling and storage marks as seen in the photos. The wooden std. Stock has 95% of the factory finish with varnish removed mainly in the buttstock and buttplate area as shown in photos. The floor-plate and trigger guard show 98% bluing remaining after 65+ years of loyal service to it's owners. The inside of the receiver is clean and bolt face is evidence that this rifle was shot sparingly as the bore is as new on this 26" barrel rifle.
