"U.S. Model 1855 Pistol Carbine, U.S. Springfield Armory. .58 Caliber. Barrel length 12". Eagle on door is partially visible, action works perfectly. Markings are clear. Lock dated 1855. Wood is good plus to very good. Cartouche not visible. Very presentable scarce U.S. Martial pistol carbine (does not have the detachable shoulder stock). Reasonably priced.
