This 1919 Gewehrfabrik Danzig Sporter in 8x57 with set Triggers remains In very good condition. It is based on a small ring 98 mauser / kar98a action. The metal work retains most of its original finish. The stock has been professionally refinished, in a manner that does not eliminate the original character the rifle acquired from usage. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. All the number match except the floorplate. The original scope and mounts are missing. The double set Triggers work as they should.
