Single action model. Gun is floral engraved with flourishes. Bore is excellent. Grips show handling wear and some nicks and dings. We have seen at least 10 examples of this same pattern over the last 40 plus years. This is period engraved and cut through the blue (as are all the examples we have seen). This was done possibly by Starr or a retail dealer during or after the Civil War using Civilian Starr single actions. Very colorful and well done period work!
