Description:
Winchester model 1890 in 22 Short caliber pump action rimfire rifle. The 24 inch octagon barrel has a good/shootable bore with some “frosting”. Exterior of the octagon barrel is in fine condition with about 95% original blue with slight edge wear.
Overall gun is in very good condition with about 85% vivid, but somewhat fading case colors remaining. The original wood is in excellent condition with about all the varnish remaining.
These Model 90s with case hardening like this one are very scarce and difficult to find. Made in 1902 this is an excellent example of the iconic Model 1890.
