Smith & Wesson Pre Model 12 Airweight 38 special. 2in barrel. Rare nickle finish.With rare locking screw screw on sideplate. Just a few locking screws were added in 1954. Original aluminium cylinder with all matching numbers.A highly collectible revolver.Grips are not original. Nice nickle finish with some flaking on the cylinder release. Unfired. With letter stating it was shipped October 1953. THIS REVOLVER IS EQUIPED WITH THE ORIGINAL ALUMINUM CYLINDER AND SHOULD NOT BE FIRED AS THE LETTER INDICATES. Sold as a collectors revolver
