Brunner of Munich. This “Doppelflinte” is in exceptional condition exhibiting all of its original metal finishes and a large percentage of its decorative wood finish (there are a few areas in the fore stock where the finish is missing, likely due to handling) and there are some other handling marks, as you will see in the attached pictures. Given the date of manufacture of this piece is estimated to be somewhere in the mid-1800s, I’m thinking many would say this old side-by-side has done quite well for its age. The barrels measure 30 7/8” in length (78 cm), both bores are very clean - both diameters are .650”, LOP is 13 ¾”, drop at comb is 1 1/8”, and the drop at the heel is 2 ½”. The overall weight is 7 lbs. 3 oz.. Shipping to be determined by prefference. I typically use USPS "Registered", takes a while but with consistently good success. Additional pictures will be available upon request. Offers will be considered. Please call Mark with any questions at 414/520-3395. Price: $1,675.00 |
