REDUCED-In the first few years of production in 1959 famed gun writer Elmer Kieth ask Bill Ruger to make some of his new Super Blackhawks with a 3/16" longer frame.No one is sure how many were made,but most agree at least 300 and possibly more.This serial number 1525 is one of those long frames and is in 98% condition(does not even have a cylinder ring)(There is no blueing missing on this revolver,light areas are photography flash).Its barrel is marked "Sturm, Ruger & Co.Southport,Conn. U.S.A." & has the Ruger "Bird" logo.Its sight is marked "Micro" and has its original lockwork.Frame and loading gate are the desireable plum color.Grips are excellent and logos retain all of their black paint.In Chads research posted online this gun is listed as unque because it has the highly polished finish.Mohagony display case is a exact copy of the original case & is in 100% condition.Must ship to FFL dealer.Flat fee of $75 to lower 48 states(will ship in 2 boxes).Price is firm & is for cashiers ck.,add 4% for cards.
