This Rock Island Armory U.S. Model 1903 is a right hand bolt action rifle in .30-06 Sprg. Cal. It has a 24 inch barrel. A hooded raised blade front sight and a flip up numbered adjustable notch middle sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood semi-pistol grip. The forearm is a smooth grip two piece hardwood with a band. Serial Number 177055 (1909). Barrel is stamped RIA, has the flaming bomb and 8-10. .30-06 Springfield
