ITHACA, NID, GRADE THREE 12 GAUGE. 28" BARRELS, FULL (.035) AND FULL (.040), 2 3/4" CHAMBERS, VERY GOOD THINNING BLUE, MIRROR BRIGHT BORES, SINGLE BEAD SIGHT. BARRELS RING NICELY ENGRAVED AT BREECH ENDS.
BOXLOCK FRAME, DEEP CUT ENGRAVING, STANDING QUAIL ON RIGHT SIDE, STANDING WOODCOCK ON LEFT SIDE, DUCK IN FLIGHT ON THE BOTTOM PLUS ACANTHUS SCROLL AND FIND BORDERS. CASE COLOR IN THE PROTECTED AREAS, COCKING INDICATORS. TOP LEVER TO THE FAR RIGHT, TIGHT ON FACE.
PISTOL GRIP STOCK, SPLINTER FOREARM WITH EBONY INLAY. NICELY FIGURED AMERICAN WALNUT, VERY FINE CHECKERING ORIGINAL GRIP CAP AND BUTTPLATE. WOOD FINISH IS FINE, CHECKERING WORN, 1 1/2" X 2 7/8" X 14 1/8", 7 POUNDS 2 OUNCES. AN HONEST GRADED ITHACA NID.
