Up for sale we have a beautiful Chapuis Armes Faisan (French for “pheasant”). This game gun is chambered in 20GA and sports 28’’ barrels. Auto safety & ejectors are standard.This has the best wood I have seen on the Classic models. If wood is what you desire, your welcome. Below you will find a list of the specs & my personal opinions on the look, feel and mounting.
AT FIRST GLANCE
The LOP is longer than most lines on the market. This will benefit taller shooters. It is nice to take something out of the box and have it work for you. If you need a 15+ lop and you don’t want to add a rubber pad this deserves a good look. A note on the wood butt plate: at the top of but plate it has a chamfered edge for fast snag free mounting. This is something you would not notice unless you needed it and is a great feature to have as standard. On this model the engraving is laser cut. It looks very pleasing to the eye (Hand engraving available on Artisan Models). All steel round body action. The stock has beautiful figure and a right-hand palm swell, that is another love of mine. This feels like it just belongs in your hands. It balances just right. I will own a Faisan in the near future. This belongs in a gun rack of a Mule drawn wagon in the heart of south Georgia’s Quail belt.
