Description:
A very rare museum quality antique World War I era British 3 1/2 inch field howitzer cannon complete with caisson and limber. This is a incredibly rare opportunity to buy a museum restored British gun manufactured by the Royal Gun Factory in 1895. This item has been part of my personal collection for many years, and I am making room for a number of other artillery pieces for my collection. As you can see by the photos, it is in impeccable condition, museum restored, and ready for display. Incredible grooved 3 1/2 inch rifled barrel stamped RGF (Royal Gun Factory) 1895 on the top. This piece has been painstakingly restored to its formal glory. Likely saw used in WWI. Has two seats for a gun crew and seat / sight for gunner. Limber and caisson also in excellent condition. Wheels are just about perfect. Not much else to say, but this is an incredible opportunity to add a piece of World War I British field artillery to your collection. Located in downtown Monroe, North Carolina. Serious inquiries only please. No FFL required as it is not a class 3 device. Over the top boys!!!
