We are offering for a sale a 1946 MARLIN Model 39A lever action rifle chambered in .22 S L LR caliber. This early example remains in very good, fully functioning condition. The rifle barrel has been fitted with a rear mounted Weaver B4 rifle scope.
24" barrel remains very good with crisp blue finish showing light scattered wear. The bore remains bright with crisp rifling. The rifle has front fixed sight; Rear sight removed for Weaver B4 scope which has been mounted to barrel. The receiver remains very good with scattered surface wear. Lever action functions flawlessly. The original stock and forend are very good with minimal handling wear. No breaks or cracks noted. Original buttplate intact without damage.
