Description:
"NSN. Made circa 1820. 55 caliber bores with 8" barrels. These officer pistols were made by the French gunsmith Fatou. He worked in Paris from 1780-1798 when he moved to the Versailles shop and worked under Nicholas Noel Boutet until 1805. He was active to approximately 1830. These guns are in near new condition as restored. The barrels are browned and inlaid in Gold around the muzzle and maker markings. The lock is marked “Fatou a Paris" This gun has been cased and has old accessories. The box is old, but has been converted into a case for these guns. Very fine set by a top maker!
