This is a beautiful example of the Colt Trooper Mk III. Built in 1975 on a medium frame with desirable 4" heavy barrel. Solid top rib and shrrouded ejection rod. This is the updated version of the Colt Trooper with corrosion resistant stainless coil springs (replacing earlier flat springs) and transfer bar safety system. High lustre Colt black finish with case hardened hammer. Six shot cylinder shows light spin ring but virtually no handling wear on the walnut grips and bright shiny bore,indicate that this gun was probably not shot often. This would make a great addition to any Colt revolver collection or as a reliable self defense piece or accurate target gun.
