Description:
This is a saddle ring carbine from 1924 that is chambered for the 32 WS cartdrige. This is a fine exmple of a 100 year old Winchester that has not been modified in any way. The 20" carbine barrel has an exceptional bright bore, with strong rifling, and has the correct original sights. All the screws are in nice original condition. The script, proof marks, and S/N are crisp and clear. The blue is much nicer on the barrel then my pictures indicate, with thinning to 35% on the receiver and carry points, but no corrosion, with a smooth feel. The factory walnut stocks fit proud to all the metal surfaces, are free of cracks or repairs, but display a few small dings here and there, as you would expect with age.
