Description:
Serial #5437, 8mm Nambu, 4 3/4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a professionally restored pistol that has 99% plus of an excellent reapplied blue finish that has traces of silvering along some of the high edges and projections. All of the edges remain sharp, and the markings are crisp and clear. Bright straw color is present on the trigger, magazine release, take-down slide, and bolt cap. The checkered wooden grips are likewise in fine-excellent shape with some mild flattening of the points on either side, as well as a few small spots of wear as well. Interestingly, the grips are numbered to the consecutive pistol (5438) on the interior. The pistol is housed in an original ruddy brown leather holster that has large, white-painted numerals on the inside of the cover flap (2 / 9) and minor crazing and flaking along the tip and reverse side. The pistol comes with a single, closely numbered magazine (5476). This is a splendid Papa Nambu, restored to excellent condition, and would make a fine addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
