The Steyr Mannlicher Pro Hunter II Varmint Stainless Steel is equally at home afield or on the range, fair weather or foul; a rifle capable of sub-MOA performance with high-end target & hunting ammunition. With it's 22" barrel, the Pro Hunter II Varmint is just the gun for hunting, whether it's for feral pigs, coyotes, Whtietails or Pronghorn antelope. If you do your part, the Steyr Pro Hunter II will get 'er done! Seller has used a similar .223 Pro Hunter II to take varmints and deer at ranges from 115-325 yards! This gun is a tacker driver... and with it's medium weight 'fluted' barel, it's one of damn few. We only have two of these unique rifles left, and they're no longer available from Steyr, one of Europe's oldest and finest gunmakers.
Steyr's trademark and unique spiral-faceted, hammer-forged barrel is not just a pretty face, and this particular rifle features a Limited Edition weight saving FLUTED medium weight barrel. The barrel has the length to squeeze the most out of a .223 Rem. cartridge, making it an excellent hunting rifle for most North American game and varmints.
