Description:
This Colt Third Model Derringer was manufactured c. 1870-1912. Colt Third Model Derringers manufacture date can not be accurately identified as per Colt database.

While the condition is a bit rough, it is still a piece of Colt history. The metal is pitted and markings are not clear. The initials "B.S." have been stratched into the right side of the pistol.

The finish and condition can be seen in the photos. The barrel turns to the side for loading and does lock up well, but this should be considered inoperable in it's current condition.

It is .41 Rimfire caliber, has wood grips and a checkered hammer.
