Description:
This is a box of 20 rounds of .45-70 Carbine ammunition manufactured under government contract for the Ordnance Department by the Union Metallic Cartridge Company for the contract during the Spanish-American War. This box is in very good condition with mostly nice edges and corners, the seal has been broken at the front but remains at the back. The sting is still attached. The printing is very sharp and free of soiling. Would make and excellent box for display.
