Description:
Offered for sale is a very nice Winchester Third Model 1873 in 32 WCF caliber (32-20). This original Winchester retains 80% of its original finish with only very light pitting to the surface. The walnut stock and forend fit shugly to the gun and are free of cracks, splits or chips. There are some minor handling marks as would be expected of any gun of this age. The barrel is 24" Octagon with a Buckhorn rear site and an original short front blade site. The serial number is 364871 B giving an manufactured date of 1891. The gun functions flawlessly and the bore is dark but free of pitting with strong rifling.
An extremely nice example of this model Winchester, it would make a fine addition to any Winchester collection or a very nicd shooter.
