Description:
This is a mint example of a Finnish Mosin Nagant M39 dated 1942. The M39 was an improvement over the other Finnish Mosin predecessors, and is arguably their best design. This rifle was made at the Finnish VKT State arsenals in 1942. The Finnish m/39 was rebuilt using Russian Model 1891 receivers and included new barrels, sights, and stocks. This rifle was picked from the battlefield and saw action in Continuance War against the Soviet Union.  Appearently, after this particular rifle was rebuilt, it never went back.  This rifle has matching frame, barrel and bolt. The front sight has a Sako stamp. The barrel has the "SA" property mark indicating ownership of Finland. The gun has retained all of its bluing. It is in mint condition with a perfect shiney bore. This is a heavy rifle, insured shipping $40, thanks for looking
