SN: H8574. Made circa 1910 in Birmingham England and built for Alcock & Pierce in Melbourne Australia. Side by side 16 gauge hammer gun with 30"" nitro proof fluid steel barrels with a single brass bead, 2 3/4"" chambers and Briley S-17 thin wall chokes, included chokes are IC/IC/M/LM/LM with choke wrench. Back action with a Greener style cross bolt, rebounding hammers and sprung firing pins. 14 5/8"" LOP to a 1"" kick eez recoil pad with a silver stock oval, 1 1/2"" drop at the nose, 2 3/8"" drop at the heel with a slight cast off. Overall in good condition, barrels have been re-blacked, bores are good with a few areas of light frosting. The action has an even patina that matches the rest of the gun and the wood has normal signs of wear and handling marks. The barrels are tight and the top lever sits centered, overall weight is 6.5lbs. A nice vintage hammer gun that has had the work done to make a practical shooter.
