Description:
NSN, .36 Caliber, 3 1/2" barrels with fine, bright bores having some mild freckling along their lengths. This is a truly handsome pistol that retains 70-75% of the original muted color case-hardening on the metal, including the barrel cluster, which was not blued. The frame, hammer, and trigger guard have crisp floral scrollwork engraving, while the flared recoil shield retains stronger original color case-hardening around the exterior. The backstrap is maker marked: "DOOLEY LIVERPOOL." The bag-shaped grip has walnut panels with extremely fine checkering, and exhibits only minor wear and flattening of the points. The action is tight and functions flawlessly. This is a great-looking British pepperbox, and in excellent overall condition. Antique
