German WW II rare French occupation made EM breast eagle. This German breast eagle was made in occupied France. Nearly all German eagles were made this way in France with a coarse open “cheesecloth” backing that the eagle was embroidered on.
When I first got this years ago, a number of eagle collectors told me what it was. I didn’t know and have never found another since, they are rare. These type of French made eagles have a color variety seen in the outer edge thread and inside embroidery.
