Unless otherwise stated, our guns are not test fired as we have no facility for that. We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Once you take the item home it is yours and no returns will be allowed. Items listed with AS-IS label are not returnable. We will not issue refunds for unknown mechanical problems. Here is a good condition Thompson Center Arms New Englander chambered for 50 Cal Black Powder. This rifle is in good functional condition with some dings and some wear but a great muzzleloader. The steel butt plate has heavy rust from standing upright in a humid cabinet. There are a few light rust spots on other areas and some light rust spots in the bore. Not bad and will easily clean up with some oil and a brush or 0000 steel wool. Thanks for looking!
