Description:
Virginia Manufactory 2nd Model Flintlock Pistol, a.k.a. Richmond-Virginia Flintlock Pistol. Made at the Virginia State Armory, Richmond, Virginia 1812-1815. This one has a 10” barrel and is a 58 caliber bore. Virginia is clearly marked forward of the Cock. At the rear of the cock only the numeral 12 is visible. The barrel is not marked. The mechanical function is very good, this is a smooth bore and it is corroded.
