The Beretta 1301 Comp Pro semiauto shotgun is designed to win tactical competitions right out of the box.
Barrel
The 1301 Comp Pro comes equipped with Steelium barrel and with the OptimaChoke HP system. The Steelium barrel is a cold hammer forged, tri-alloy steel barrel with 3” chamber and 80mm double forcing cones. The barrel is then matched with Black Edition OptimaChoke HP choke tubes and topped with a 10x8 Stepped rib with fiber optic sight and a mid-bead for optimum target acquisition.
Receiver
The receiver is blue anodized 7075-T651 Aluminum alloy for lightweight strength and durability. The receiver is over-sized, the loading gate has been enlarged, and the lifter stays raised during operation to create a chute to make Load 2 and Quad loads easier.
Gas System
The 1301 Comp Pro features Beretta’s Blink gas-operating system and rotating bolt head allowing it to smoothly fire 4 shots in less than a second.
Recoil Management
The new Kick-Off Plus system uses a dual dampener system to effectively mitigate first recoil peak, which reduces perceived recoil by up to 40%. A third dampener located in the stock bolt reduces the second recoil peak, which aids in keeping the shotgun muzzle flat. For added comfort, a Soft Comb pad has been added to be gentle against the cheek, while Comfort Grip is added on the pistol grip and forend for improved grip in inclement weather.
