Colt 1860 Army-Boxed. Serial number 161791 Mfg. 1866. Here is a very nice 1860 army with case and all the accessories. Matching serial numbers on 4 locations on frame, with 44CAL on left side rear of trigger guard and COLTS PATENT on left side of frame. Still has some case hardening seen on frame and bluing on barrel. Action works fine as does ramrod. Naval battle scene very pronounced as well as ENGAGED 15 MAY 1843 and Colts Patent No 1791 on cylinder. Some bluing wear on right side of barrel and varnish worn on right side wood grip. Wood is otherwise nice condition. Wooden case has rounded corners and red velvet with no tears, box is in nice condition with no cracks or breaks in the wood. Box has tin of ELEY BROs caps w/caps, a COLTS PATENT bullet mold, some lead balls and conical lead, a COLTS PATENT powder flask, a box of Cartridges for Colts Army Pistol, unopened but taped up, count unknown and a working KEY! All in nice condition and a great complete set. $14,200
