Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked cylinder & full. The rib is roll marked: 'WATSON BROS 29 OLD BOND ST LONDON'. The patina case color hardened finished action body and lockplates are adorned with traditional rose bouquets and scroll engraving and fluted fences. Both lockplates are engraved "WATSON BROS". Gold-inlaid '1' on top lever, barrel rib near breech and fore-end tip. The action is fit with a hidden third fastener (treble grip), gold-lined cocking indicators, blacked engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered and automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide.
