Winchester 100 chambered in .308 Winchester. The Model 100 was originally introduced in 1961 and was discontinued in 1973 due to rising costs of labor. It is a semi-automatic rifle that uses a gas-piston actuated rotating bolt similar to the M1 Garand. It also has a charging handle that is part of the operating rod. A Garand style gas system also makes the 100 unfailingly reliable. It has a cross-bolt safety located at the front of the trigger guard. It has a 4-round removable magazine. It has a flip down rear sight and a hooded front blade sight. It is also drilled and tapped for mounting a scope. The rifle is light, but comfortable to shoot due to the gas system.
