Standard Pattern Model 1840 Musicians sword with a 28.25"" straight blade, fuller measures 25.25"". Blades finish is a dull grey patina with scattered oxidation visible. Ricasso is marked ""Hortsmann/Phila"". Brass guard, hilt and pommel has surface soiling with an antique shine. Leather scabbard is fair with flaking occuring. Brass throat is loose. Consignment
