Nice 3rd model '76 that is in very decent condition. The bore has been lined for hunting/shooting purposes and is in perfect condition.
28" octagon barrel. 1876 mrked ladder rear sight, rocky mountain front sight with a bead. Rifle function correctly. No chips or cracks in the stock. Rifle has turned a nice even brown patina, . There is no visible bluing or case hardening remaining. There are two gouges on the left side of the wrist. A wee bit of figure to the wood at the toe of the stock.The elevator has numerous small dings. Good screw heads that haven't been bubba'd. If you're looking for one to shoot it would be hard to beat this one.
