SOLD !! We have in on consignment a Pre model 36. This gun appears to be test fired only.as a hint of head stamp on recoil shield.the is some staining on top strap, and a few speckles on side plate. NO bad pitting. the polish on this gun, is far better than the 60's guns. very high polish.Thus the staining. If you are looking for a carry gun, and want QUALITY of yester year, this is it.timing and lock up are perfect. The original grips are no longer, but can be had on ebay. A nice early Chief special. The barrel and cylinder have serial number, a practice that was ended in the 60's
