Description:
Built in July of 1881 this fantastic .44 Double Action is equipped with a 5” barrel, factory nickel finish and checkered black rubber service grips. A wonderful example of a tough to find antique S&W that was returned to the factory in May 1974 for refurbishment per the service department markings on the left grip frame. The gun retains 99% of the factory nickel finish which is bright and clear showing only faint handling evidence. The mechanical working order is excellent. Overall a very nice .44 Double Action!
