Built around 1898 this fabulous 1st Model Single Shot is equipped with an 8” barrel and is chambered for .38 S&W; the rarest caliber by production. The original bright blue finish is lustrous showing only slight wear and minor scattered aging. Knowledgeable collectors are aware of the extreme rarity of special ordered single shots. This fine example will have a special place in any collection. Many months of diligent searching will be required to ever duplicate, let alone improve, this wonderful .38 Target pistol.
