A antique powder flask head by "James Dixon $ Sons, Sheffield" and so marked on the head. Oposite the Dixon name is a Hallmark stamp denoting some type of special metal. I cannot read Hallmarks, but I do not think this is Silver as it does not tarnish.
All 3 pieces have clean threads and everything goes together very smooth. It is marked 3-4 Drams powder. The adjustments work nicely on the spout. The head is 1.310" inside measurement. It also comes with the 3 original screws and one replacement. This will make an excellent replacement for a damaged head or simply as a display piece in your collection.
