Payment Types Accepted: USPS money order, Certified Check, Zelle Description: <SOLD> A piece of US steel, a Colt 1911 MK IV / Series 70 Government Model made in 1973 and accurized by the late Mr F Bob Chow, a gunsmith and Olympic class shooter, at his San Francisco gun shop in the Mission district back in July of 1979, many hairs ago. Mr Chows work is legendary and was considered one of the highest level of accuracy work you could get for your 1911 back then and even to this day! This pistol is one example of Mr Chows fine work, Inspite of the blue showing scratches and fades, the pistol action is superb and functions correctly and it is mechanically sound. Its been well taken cared for and i dont believe in re-bluing and taking away a guns individual character. It also comes with Mr Chows original enlarged hand-checkered wood grip panels with the palm swells that are characteristic of Mr Chows work. The pistol was used in competitve target shoots and stashed away in the 90s. Check out the photos, the pistol speaks Chow., its solid and its tight. Got questions? Text me and i'll call you and try to answer them with the best of my know and memory. Please check out my listings. thanks.
