Mauser. (SOLD) Model Persian 49 Bolt action Carbine. Cal. 8mm Mauser. 18” barrel with an excellent bore. Manufactured in Persia, now Iran, with a factory set up by the Czech Republic. Fashioned after the earlier made M30 carbine. Considered to be one of the best Mausers ever made. Receiver retains 95% of its original blue finish, barrel is similar with some light corrosion on top of front sight and some wear at muzzle. Bold Lion crest is excellent. Matching numbers on receiver and stock. Some light handling marks on an otherwise very fine wood stock. Butt plate is in very fine condition.
