We are offering for sale a COLT / US & S CO. 1911 semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45ACP caliber. This frame dates to 1943 making this a WWII era collectible gun.
5" barrel is fair to good with a freckled bore showing good rifling. US & S Co. slide is good with scattered surface, age wear. Crisp marks. Slide is "Two-Toned" with front 2.5" being a bit darker finish. Colt frame is very good with scattered surface wear, freckling; No damage noted. Gun functions flawlessly. "C-L" marked magazine is good with strong spring and follower.
