Since the earliest days of American colonization, through the inevitable expansion of the Frontier driven westward by explorers, adventurers, and settlers, and on to modern times, the rifle has played a vital role in a part of life as old as mankind himself. For today’s hunter who likes a campfire showpiece that still delivers in the woods, we offer a classic caliber in a highly polished hardened brass frame- the .30-30. The H009BGWL carries five of the time-proven mid-bore .30-30 rounds under its 20” octagon barrel. Combine the .30-30 caliber with our famously smooth action, high-polished metalwork, American walnut furniture, fully adjustable buckhorn/bead sights, drilled and tapped frame top for an optional scope, and highly engraved frames featuring American vine scroll and braided borders surrounding the portrait of a stately buck’s head on the right-side panel, with the same motif setting off a leaping buck on the left side, and you have a deer rifle that’ll turn heads anywhere.
