A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood pistol grip. The forearm is a smooth grip two piece hardwood. Two different typs of wood with this stock. Serial Number 2438322 (1943). Barrel is stamped 3-S A 6 44. .30-06 Springfield
