NSN, made in 1812, .69 caliber, 42.25"" round smoothbore barrel. Musket has been converted to percussion. Barrel and other iron parts are a smooth brown patina. Lock plate is marked ""U.S./EAGLE/E. STILLMAN"" rear of hammer is dated ""1812"" Barrel tang screw is missing. Stock has expected nicks, dings and scratches, a crack is noted forward of the lower lock plate going to the trigger guard. Stillman had a 3500 gun contract with only 1885 estimated to have been delivered. Consignment
