Description:
A factory letter accompanies this incredibly rare special-ordered K-22 confirming the rare configuration and detailing its original shipment on April 15, 1947 to Marshall Fields in Chicago, Illinois for Lt. Col. Cylde A Faust. The gun is equipped with a 6" narrow-rib barrel, original satin blue finish, 1/10" red post front sight and matching numbered checkered walnut diamond magna grips. Knowledgeable collectors are aware of the extreme rarity of special ordered red-post sights, especially from this model and period. The very low serial number K936 is among the first made after the war. The gun is all numbers matching and is excellent throughout showing only the faintest handling evidence and light wear at the muzzle. A rare and uniquely configured K-22 with military provenance complete in the gold box! A must own K-Frame.
