Description:
Vickers Armstrong small bore rifles proved, from the early 1920's until the beginning of WWII, to be very accurate and competitive.
The accuracy is due to the Parker Hale and AJ Parker gunsmithing and rifling system.
The 30 inch barrel is tapered from the receiver at one inch to 3/4 inch at the muzzle.The rifle retains 99% of its original blue.
The bore is excellent.
The Vickers Armstrong has a unique design feature with its receiver and barrel being manufactured as one piece.
It has a Parker Hale No 2 front sight dovetailed to the barrel. The Parker Hale " Perfection " rear sight has1/4 minute clicks for both the vertical and lateral with a vernier scale. A Parker Hale 61 six hole eyepiece and rubber eye shield is attached. The sight has a large opening concentric with the bore for cleaning from the breach.
The English Walnut stock has no cracks or dings.The stock has a satin oil finish. The buttstock has a "White Line " rubber butt pad.
The base of the pistol grip has a Parker Hale front sight insert container for the Parker Hale front sight. Two Parker Hale sling loops are fixed at the forward part of the forearm, and a sling loop forward of the trigger guard.
Total length is 48 inches and weighs about 9.5 pounds.

The rifle was shot only once after purchasing it about ten years ago. It was shot at 70 yards, eight shots , dead center, tiny, less than a dime sized group.
