Description:
You are on an antique COLT Molde 1849 pocket revolver chambered in .31 caliber. This antique gun functions however every few turns the cylinder gets stuck. May need ajusting or cleaning. Manufactured 1863. Barrel, Frame and Trigger Guard numbers all match.
4" barrel is good with scattered oxidation wear to grey finish. The bore is surprisingly clean with crisp rifling. Good lettering on top edge. The frame finish matches that of the barrel. Hammer and trigger function properly. Cylinder is good however has no scene or numbers on it; One nipple missing. Cylinder functions properly with the cock of hammer but does get hung up every now and then; May need adjusting or cleaning. Brass trigger guard is good with original patina. Wood grips are good with field wear consistent with age; Chip along frame on left side.
